Employee and employer. Personal development and organizational competitiveness. Incentives and costs. With more than 25 years of human resources experience, Celia Crossley brings a well-rounded perspective to each one of her clients. Her regular project work includes career consulting, executive coaching, key employee selection, and team-building. But her area of special expertise is in guiding individuals and organizations through periods of change. Certified in the Birkman Method®, Celia clearly defines the connection between motivations, behaviors, and workplace satisfaction. And she shows her clients how to align all three in order to maximize their own potential.
Before starting her consulting practice in 1981, Celia was an Associate Consultant with The Hay Group, where she led workshops and seminars and provided outplacement counseling. Prior to that, she had held two corporate positions at Rax Restaurants: Manager of Compensation and Benefits, and Employee Relations Administrator. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and holds a B.A. in communications from the Ohio State University. Thanks to her expertise as a career strategist, Celia has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and on CareerBuilder.com.
Other accolades include the YWCA Woman of Achievement Award in 1991, the “Service Above Self” award from the Upper Arlington Rotary in 1997, and the President’s Award recognizing community service bestowed by the Junior League of Columbus in 2000. Celia has been actively involved in the Upper Arlington Civil Service Commission, the Children’s Hunger Alliance Board, the YWCA, the Upper Arlington Rotary Club, and the Women President’s Organization.
