Richard has been finding ways to improve human resources management for the past 28 years: as an HR executive, consultant, and noted authority. At Celia Crossley & Associates, he focuses on HR consulting and leadership development. He is certified in the Birkman Method® and uses this tool in workshops and one-on-one settings.

Richard has held executive HR roles with major employers in technology, financial services and transportation. As a consultant, he has advised clients in healthcare, insurance and state government. His professional affiliations include membership in the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO): he also holds the SPHR designation.

Richard graduated cum laude from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; emphasis in Human Resources and Organizational Development. He has been a frequent speaker on leadership at the Ohio State Fisher College of Business and in 2004, was the keynote speaker at the Fisher College Dean's Leadership Conference. Richard volunteers as a coach in the Franklin University MBA program and serves on the Community Advisory Panel for WOSU Radio.
